Topping-Out Ceremony at the ESI


On 21 September 2016, the Ernst Strüngmann Institute (ESI) celebrated the topping out ceremony on the occasion of the completion of the shell of its new research building. Greeting addresses were given by the Hessian minister of science, Boris Rhein, city councillor Jan Schneider, benefactor Andreas Strüngmann, former Max-Planck vice president Herbert Jäckle and the architect Rainer Post. This was followed by the traditional ceremony with blessing verses and a meal. The building will cost about 30 M€ and is scheduled to be completed end of 2017.
